Kick-Off Ceremony November 11, 2011

Pearl Upper Elementary recently held a ribbon-cutting ceremony
for its Project Fit America playground equipment. Funding
was provided by a grant from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Mississippi
Foundation. From left to right are fifth grade student Caden
Harrell, Project Fit poster winner, Sheila Grogan with Blue
Cross, Capt. Deanna Butler with the Mississippi Army National
Guard, Pearl Schools superintendent Ray Morgigno, Upper Principal

Pearl Upper Elementary fifth grade student
Caden Harrell was the winner of the Project Fit America poster
contest. The posters illustrated the benefits of exercise
and a healthy lifestyle. Funding for the Project Fit playground
equipment was provided by a grant from Blue Cross Blue Shield
